Data control
Your career data, your call.
The whole point of a source-of-truth profile is that you stay in control of it. We make the rules visible before you sign up, not buried in settings.
What data is stored
- Profile fields you enter or approve from a CV import (name, contact, experience, education, skills, languages, training, career goals).
- CV files you upload, kept in your workspace for re-import / re-tailoring.
- Applications you create (job title, company, status, dates, notes) and the AI-generated documents tied to them.
- Interview / Coach / Negotiation session transcripts and per-axis scoring for your own reports.
- Billing record (credit balance, ledger of credit-consuming actions).
What AI can use
- Only your approved profile data is passed to AI actions — never your raw CV text, never other users’ data.
- Generated documents (CV / cover letter) are derived from approved profile fields plus the job description you paste.
- Interview and Coach AI sees your role, seniority and skills so practice reflects your actual profile.
- No training is performed on your data by us. AI calls go to OpenAI under their data-processing agreement.
What is never silently changed
- CV imports go through a field-by-field review screen. Nothing is written without your explicit approval.
- AI suggestions in Documents, Roadmap, Skill Lab and Coach stay as suggestions until you accept them.
- Job recommendations are derived live from your profile — they do not change your profile.
- No background jobs edit your career data.
How credits work
- You start free, no card. A monthly allowance of credits is included and resets each month.
- Some heavier AI actions cost credits (deep employer report, tailored CV, interview session, negotiation rehearsal).
- Every credit-consuming action shows the cost in a confirm step before charging.
- Dynamic actions that could scale (multi-source scans) ask for approval before exceeding the previewed amount.
- You can see your balance and ledger in Billing at any time.
How the Legal Hub is restricted
- Workplace questions are answered using approved UK sources only (ACAS, GOV.UK, primary legislation).
- The search scope is shown before the answer is generated.
- Sources used are listed under every answer and can be exported as PDF.
- The Legal Hub provides guidance and research support, not formal legal advice. For binding advice, see a solicitor or accredited adviser.
How you can delete or export
- Export: download a JSON snapshot of your profile + applications + session history from Settings.
- Delete: remove your workspace from Settings; this purges career data and uploaded files within 30 days.
- Clear before re-import: the Document Lab has a "Clear profile" button that wipes CV-derived data while keeping career goals intact.
- For partial removal (one application, one document), use the delete action on the row itself.
